Connect a Telegram bot to an assistant so people can message it directly on Telegram — the same assistant you'd otherwise only reach through chat or an embedded widget.
Telegram bots are created through Telegram's own @BotFather, not here. Message it, follow its prompts, and it hands you a bot token.
On the assistant's Channels tab, paste that token into the Telegram section and connect it. That's the whole setup — unlike the embed widget, there's no publish step; the assistant doesn't need to be public, since a Telegram bot isn't publicly discoverable the way a widget on a website is. Anyone who finds or is given a link to your bot can message it.
Each person who messages your bot gets their own ongoing conversation with the assistant, the same as a chat on the dashboard. Telegram conversations are anonymous the same way a widget visitor's is — no platform login involved — so lead capture is available there too, automatically.
Disconnecting the integration stops the bot from responding, but doesn't delete the bot itself on Telegram's side — you'd still manage or delete the bot through @BotFather if you want it gone entirely.
